A selection of the world’s most prominent photographers will offer a distinctive opportunity to delve into their most notable retrospectives and their latest reportages. Concurrently, acclaimed photojournalists will participate in dialogues concerning pivotal subjects like the repercussions of armed conflicts and warfare, alongside the significance of investigative journalism. We will also present stories and images featured in some of the globe’s premier publications, encompassing National Geographic, The Washington Post, Stern, Geo, and The New York Times.

Docu-interview with Alain Schroeder: Screening of the documentary from the Humus – Where Talent Germinates docuseries, showcasing an interview with Belgian photographer Alain Schroeder, three-time winner of the World Press Photo. The interview will offer an opportunity to know Alain as a person and then as a photographer and to understand the roots and reasons for his success as a photographer.

“Photojournalism in a World of Crisis”: Conversation with Michael Robinson Chavez, Serhii Korovayny, Salwan Georges, and Carolyn Van Houten moderated by Adrees Latif.
What does it take to photographically document conflict and crisis? What ethical dilemmas, security concerns, and physical and emotional risks do photojournalists encounter? Hear firsthand accounts of their experiences on the ground.
